What is the recommendation for how often you should replace the brushes on electric toothbrushes?

Dear sallie
Same as manual toothbrush, the brush head of electric toothbrush should be replaced every 3 months or when the bristles start to flare, whichever sooner. However, should the bristles flare in less than 3 months, you may be pressing the tooth brush too hard against your teeth.
