I was in doubt.Does spouse mean olny "husband" or "wife" or is there another meaning?Such as in a contract of a loan,for instance,"Mr.John Clark"(spouse). Thnaks,dear school!

It means either husband or wife. A spouse is a married person. So if you see in a loan contract a name like "Mr. John Clark (spouse)" it refers to the fact that John Clark is the spouse of the applicant. Did that help? If not, ask again and I'll try to make it clearer.
