| How old is my bike? |
denberg |

I live in the UK and in 1992 I inherited a bike from a deceased relative. I didn't ask how old it was, but I had the impression it was quite old even then. My question is this: How old is my bike? In what year was it built?
The only clues I can give you are that on the frame are the words DENVER VISCOUNT and the bike is a like a sports bike except that it doesn't have drop handlebars. It has thin "racing" tires.
Has anyone ever heard of a company selling bikes in the UK in the 80s or 70s called DENVER? Anyone have any other ideas?
Many thanks,
Paul, London UK. |

Hello.... I did not know of that brand personally, but I did find someone looking for a VISCOUNT part for his bike, and stated that it was from the 1970's. Sorry I cant be of more help, but it seemed to be a very small market and probably not that many sold. May be a rare item you may want to investigate, and if you dont want it, may get some dollars on ebay for it. Good luck. |
