Hasn't the 10-speed system finally made it down the Shimano 105 Group in the 2007 lineup? Then why does the 2007 Trek 1500 still have the Shimano 105 9-speed Group? Many thanks, C.L.

Have you thought of asking Trek? There could be several reasons like frame geometry, trying to keep a certain price point, etc. I doubt is any of us are privy to Trek's designing sessions and how they decide what to put on each model. I would log onto Trek's website and look for a Contact link and ask them. HTH Scott<>
