I'm curious to know how long someone can serve time for dealing drugs? And how much could someone serve time for doing them? If this is a first offense for either one..what would happen? Thanks.

As my colleagues have advised, there are so many variables (geographic age, whether the individual is a minor or an adult, type and amount of drugs involved, etc), it would be difficult for us to give you a reliable answer. If you cannot afford a lawyer, the court can provide one. The lawyer can give a better idea of the possible penalties involved. You could also go to one of the internet search engines and search on: average jail time - drug offenses - name of your state
