3rd Macth JCC VS Becan
The Becan scored 145 in 16 over against JCC, JCC reach the score in 14 over, 149 Runs Won by 6 WKT
4th Match LCC VS Target
The Lcc played 10 over because he was late in ground he scored 165 against Target, the target played 12 over and he won the match, remember the tournament was 16 over per match
5th Match LCC VS Becan
Becan scored 138 Runs in 16 over, Lcc reach the score at 14 over 142 Runs Lcc win by 3 Wkts 6th Match JCC VS Target
Jcc scored 214 in 16 over, the target score only 155 and all team out Jcc won by 59 Runs
Team Played TotalRuns Won Lose Points LCC 3 471 2 1 4 JCC 3 526 2 1 4 TARGET 3 509 2 1 4 BECAN 3 304 0 3 0
Now I am asking the question that who will qualify the quarterfinal and how it will please explain in detail
Because the tournament comity decision is LCC and TARGET go to the quarterfinal because both team have good average.
They out the average like that
Team 1Match 2Match 3Match Runs OverPlayed Ave
LCC 164/14 165/12 142/14 471 40 11.77
TAR 187/16 167/12 155/14 509 42 12.11
JCC 163/16 149/14 214/16 526 46 11.43
Remember the tournament was 16 over per match
They count the over how much they played before & after Like that LCC Played 3 Matches Scored 471 in 40 Over 471 divide 40 = 11.77 They out the average like that

Hi Kamran. This is Roger in Wellington, New Zealand.
I see the problem: you have three teams tied with the same points and only two may progress to the quarterfinals.
In my opinion, the results of these teams' matches against the bottom placed team, Becan, should be disregarded. Therefore in the matches played between the top teams, LCC scored 329 runs from 26 overs (avg 12.65), Target 322 from 26 (12.38) and JCC 377 from 32 (11.78).
Therefore LCC and Target go through (which is the same result when you include the matches against Becan.) The only question is whether there is a rule in your competition that covers the event which happened?
I hope this helps. What country are you from? Roger |
