What exactly is the benefit that GWB and Cheney are getting from the War in Iraq? They certainly don't have any agreement for it. I find them doing the right thing in the face of no agreement. They all clamor for more privacy, but criticize the quest for democracy, which is what allows them their privacy in the first place. |

President Bush and Cheney are in office to protect our citizens and possessions both here and abroad. Neither want terrorism to become prevalent in our everyday lives. In short, they're thinking about the future of the United States. The democratic process is working, Katiy. Bush didn't declare war on Iraq. Congress did. Politicians are PUBLIC citizens. We are PRIVATE citizens. They don't expect privacy from the day they throw their hats in the ring. Even their private lives (home life and business ventures) are under scrutiny, thanks to the media. This is why Cheney was caught in his dealings with Halliburton et al.
Hope this helps, Katiy. Have a GREAT weekend. We shall win the war in Iraq and Bush will be known as the GREAT LIBERATOR in years to come. He's a good President. Our economy has never been better. The Dow is at an all-time high. See ya!
