Ive learned ,that a shot-put athlete injured his wrist ,during his hobby and using the facilities of the Games........in a computer games hall!Never being able to compete.... There is sports and sports..... Anyone more/other details of peculiar Olympic events?

Peculiar competitions are held. Mountain Bike races, for instance! In the summer the ascent along the track, and in the winter the "Ice Tube Race" - the exciting downhill race with spiked wheels for a better traction - attended by the most daring international athletes who compete on the ice of the bobtrack! HANK
