    Where is CPT1 located? In some things i read it is in the outer mitochondrial membrane and other times it is in the inner membrane. Can you help me?

It is actually in the inner membrane of the mitochondria. The protons are accumulated in the intermembrane space, and then they rush back in the matrix via the CPT1, on the inner mitochondiral membrane, generating ATP.
