Are medium's a good idea? Anonymous 07/03/03
Lost my soul mate / best friend tragically a year and a half ago. I am, "getting on with it", but greiving never ends, does it? I was wondering if it's a good idea to maybe go to a medium. I dunno if they're real.. though I would love to believe it, I also don't want my deepest emotions being toyed with. Any suggestions?

Hello: I am so sorry for your loss. Greiving is a process we all do differently. There is no set limit of time it takes people to actually say they have stopped grieving. But, what we have to do is to go on as you say you are doing with your life, because that person knew you and would not want you to be dorment, they would not want you to stop, because it was their time to go to the Lord, that is not what we as the living do, we live, the dead is at rest and they rest.
I would not know for sure if there are people that is listed in any phonebook, or tv show that is a connection to our deceased people, because, those that do have a gift do not charge anyone for it, and it is not for everyone to see such. However, the closest to having someone help you through this would be a qualifyed mental therapist, and a clergy-person. Both working together would be able to answer your questions with correct responses, they would be able to teach you how to go on, so you feel as tho you have a just cause for life, and fully understand you are worth everything life has to offer.
Be good to yourself and go to the above, for personal and responsive results.
Please let me know how you come out or getting along, I am here for you anytime.
Respectfully,
