    Is CLR good for cleaning a bathtub that has gotten really dirty?

    Also, my bathtub is made of plastic. The entire tub and the wall of the shower is one piece. Is it safe to use CLR on plastic?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.

Hi C.L.;

No do not use CLR to clean a fiberglass tub.

I use a product called "soft scrub" made by Clorox. This is a mild abrasive that will not scratch the fiberglass.

I have not found one thing that CLR is good for.

Good luck, Van
