although, if I were you, and you are talking about a valuable oil painting I would contact a professional artist or an art gallery, for it takes a lot of care to do it without harming the painting.
The persons who di this sort of job in museums or art galleries are truly specialists and it is a job that depending on the age of the painting it may take from days to months to properly do it.
