Gridlines in Excel luhayes 08/02/05
I have just installed Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 on a new laptop. WORD seems to be OK, but when Excel (Version 11.1.1) is opened, the Workbook page does not show any grid lines. I opened Excel Preferences and made sure the Gridlines box under Window Options was checked. Still no gridlines. Any cell that is checked is outlined in a very light shadow, not the usual heavy black lines. How can I show the gridlines?

you would have to add borders if you want really thick lines.

which should be in the preferences/field options.
