Mouse arrow freezes Kanthume 12/14/04
Just recently my mouse arrow will freeze on my iMac. It is a USB mouse. I can unplug the mouse and replug it and then it works for awhile then freezes again. Sometimes this unplugging doesn' work but if I plug it into another USB socket, it will work again for a while. Sometimes it stops working and won' work even if I do replug the mouse in.

Sometime my keyboard won' type at all but if I unplug it and replug it in, it will work.

Any ideas of what is wrong or what I can do to fix this?

it could be a phyiscal fault with the usb controller, there is nothing u can do 2 repair that apart from maybe installing a new pci usb card that will replace your usb sockets which you are currently using.
i would advise also running a spyware/virus/scandisk/defrag etc.. if u need any help running these just ask
