Puzzled. The newscasters stated that Pope John Paul II was not emblamed. How can he lie in state not having been enbalmed? He died last Friday, and he won't be buried until this Friday. (Is the temperature in the basillica 38 degrees, but even so...)

I am sure that they can keep the temperature of the body low, by using an air-conditioner, dry ice, etc.
