Hi,
Homo Sapiens evolved from a line which emerged from Homo Erecctus as did Neandertalis but Neadertalis for all intents and purposes appears to have died out. There may be some evidence that there may have been some interbreeding between Sapien and Neadertalis.
Neadertalis evolved at a time when the Ice Ages were fully engaged and was well suited to adaptation to this kind of evnironmental condition. While Sapien evolved in a somewhat warmer and wetter condition and while well suited to adaptation would never have survived the Ice Age land scape well with out further adaptation like the eskimo. |
