Michael Drosnin's The Bible Code 2: The Countdown, claims Francis Crick, who discovered DNA in 1953, believes it was sent here in a spaceship by aliens. Was Crick misquoted?

There are a number of problems with Mr. Drosnin' book, not the least of which is this one. Mr. Crick did at one time say that " would not surprise me if we are not alone in the universe and that it (the genetic road map) could have come from outside our solar system but there is no way to prove this so it is moot."
So, it is a paraphrase at best and most definitely a misquote at worst.
By all means, take the book with a pound of salt, not just a few grains. |
