    Hello, would you please answer these questions below for me. Thank you! 1. Have you personally observed or experienced a situation involving acculturation? (acculturation refers to changes that result when groups come into continuous firsthand contact--changes in the cultural patterns of either or both groups) 2. Can you use your interaction with your parents or teachers to illustrate the difference between hidden and public transcripts. (hidden transcript-- as used by James Scott, the critique of power by the oppressed that goes on offstage-in private-where the power holders can't see it. public transcript--the open, public interactions between dominators and oppressed--the outer shell of power relations) 3. If you were going to resist publicly, how would you choose to do it, and why?

1. Yes, the shift from middle school to high school, and the shift from high school to college.

2. That's just basic human nature, to make others wrong for everything. It occurs within everyone.

3. I resist publically everyday. No one tells me what to do.
