Can't remember the name of an old anime movie.	mhaynie02	03/13/06
I watched an old anime back in the late eighties. All I remember from it were these giant-black potato bug creatures. They traveled in huge herds and their eyes turned red when angered and were blue when docile. At the end of the movie the main character, a girl, dies surrounded by these monsters. Then she gets lifted up into the air by some magical powers and returns to life. I have been racking my brain to remember the name of the movie. Does anyone recognize the show and know the name?
Clarification/Follow-up by mhaynie02 on 04/08/06 4:00 pm: Thanks for you answer. But no it is not Glow Worms. These "Potato" Bugs were completely black and where the size of 3 story buildings. They all moved in giant herds and seemed to possess a very basic intelligence. They understand death, anger, and neutrality. Not sure how else to describe them. The show is a pretty serious little show from what I remember. It was not a saturday morning cartoon. Clarification/Follow-up by katiy on 04/09/06 9:40 pm: Ask some teenage boys about 20.
