Does anyone have any standby experiences? I am considering travelling to a major airport such as in Toronto, New York, etc. with a friend and then just waiting until we can get on a standby flight to Europe. How much do these standby flights cost? I know you can only buy them one-way but I believe that would make it even more fun. Thanks a lot

I haven't been on standby, but have gave up my seat before, and that was fun. Just take supplies for being in the airport. Like a mini game, crosswords, etc.
