My OS = Win'XP and I'm using Quicken basic 2003. I just backed up my Quicken finacial rcords to a CD. I checked the CD to insure that the data was recorded. I have 2 "QData" icons and 2 "Qdata 1' icons. When I click on each one my initial (home) data page showing my complete financial accounts appears on screen. Unfortunately, this data only stays on the screen for a matter of seconds. Obviously, it is no use if I can't access the individual accounts. Any ideas?

How did you do the backup? If you use Quicken's internal backup it just makes a copy of your files (I forget how many). Try opening Quicken and using File>Open to open the files. Also if you copied them to a CD/R the read only aspect could be the problem. HTH Scott<>
