  • Catholicism

I have studied the Bible and Catholicism for many years, and have been a #1 rated expert in Catholicism on both Askme.com and WeTellyou.com.

      Other qualifications:

      - Former member of the counil of a local church
      - Speaker at the "Last Days Bible Conference"
      - Reasearcher into religious movements and cults (maintain website with information on some of these movements and cults). One page on the website deals specifically with Roman Catholicism
      - Former No. 1 Expert on the Askme.com Catholicism Board
      - Last but most certainly not least: I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ, having accepted his sacrifice on the cross as payment for the penalty that I incurred as a result of sin.

According to 1 Peter 2:5, as a believer in Jesus Christ, having accepted his sacrifice on the cross, I am priest of His holy catholic (universal) church.

I hold to the view that the Bible is inerrant and infallible, and I believe that the Bible is our sole authority on matters of faith and doctrine (Sola Scripture, Sola Fide)

It is important to understand that the basis for my responses will be based upon using scripture to interpret itself.

One of the most important doctrines of scripture to understand is who is Jesus, and here is what I find God's word has to say on this topic:

      Who is Jesus?

Jesus is God (John 1:1) manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16), born of a virgin (Is 7:14), lived a perfect sinless life (Heb 4:15).

He is from everlasting (Micah 5:2), the creator of all that exists (Col 1:16). He is God (John 1:1), one of the three persons of the trinity (Is 48:16-17), who came to earth in order that he might give His life as a sacrifice to pay for the sins of all (Mark 10:45), that whosoever would receive that free gift of salvation might not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16-17). Those who reject Him have condemned themselves (John 3:17) and are destined to an eternity in the lake of fire (Rev 20:15). No one has an excuse because the truth of God is revealed to us all (Rom 1:20), and all have sinned (Rom 3:23), thus are deserving of the penalty.

He died on the cross (Luke 23:26), was buried and was resurrected on the third day (Mark 16:6) and after many days, rose up directly into heaven (Acts 1:9-11)to sit at the right hand of the Father (1 Peter 3:22). He is the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega (Rev 1:8,11), and the one who will at the end be the judge of all (2 Tim 4:1).

When the veil was ripped from the Holy of Holies (Matt 27:51), it was symbolic of the fact that through Christ we no longer need a human priest to intercede for us who sacrifices cannot take away sins (Heb 10:11), for those who worship (Heb 1:6) Jesus as God (Heb 1:8), and receive Him and His sacrifice on the cross as Saviour are no longer condemned (John 3:17), but are a member of the priesthood of believers (1 Pet 2:5), over whom there is but one High Priest, Jesus Christ (Heb 8:1-2).

That is the Jesus whom I worship and follow. I may not have been as concise as I tried to be, but I felt to show fully who Jesus is, it is important to note the key differentiators over other false Jesus's that Paul, for one, warns about (2 Cor 11:4).

  • Evolution

When I was younger, I was a firm believer in Evolution. In an effort to defend the belief in evolution, I studied it both from a scientific and a Christian perspective since I am both a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and have a degree in applied science.

What I discovered was a shock to me. I found out that evolution could not be supported either through scripture or through science. For a time, I became a theistic evolutionist, but found that to be the least defensible position.

I hold to the view that the Bible is inerrant and infallible, and I belief that the Bible is our sole authority on matters of faith and doctrine (Sola Scripture, Sola Fide)

As with any area of belief, it is important to understand that the basis for my responses will be the Bible and will be in part an opinion based upon an interpretation obtained by examining the whole of scripture, thus using scripture to interpret itself.

  • Revival

I am a Christian, born agains through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. I have studied revivals and revivalist movements in the church for many years, and have been asked to speak on the topic a number of times. I maintain a website with research information on the topic.

I am well acquainted with the New Apostolic Reformation, Strategic Spiritual warfare, etc.

      Other Qualifications:

      - Former member of the counil of a local church
      - Speaker at the "Last Days Bible Conference"
      - Reasearcher into religious movements and cults (maintain website with information on some of these movements and cults)
      - Last but most certainly not least: I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ, having accepted his sacrifice on the cross as payment for the penalty that I incurred as a result of sin.

I hold to the view that the Bible is inerrant and infallible, and I believe that the Bible is our sole authority on matters of faith and doctrine (Sola Scripture, Sola Fide)

It is important to understand that the basis for my responses will be based upon using scripture to interpret itself.

One of the most important doctrines in scripture to understand is who Jesus is. Here is what I find in scripture regarding Jesus:

  • The Bible

I have been saved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and believe in the truth of God's Holy word in the Bible as the inerrant and infallible word of God.
      Other qualifications:

      - Former member of the counil of a local church
      - Speaker at the "Last Days Bible Conference"
      - Reasearcher into religious movements and cults (maintain website with information on some of these movements and cults). As part of this role, I have had to do considerable research into scripture to understand not just orthodox Christian doctrine, but to understand the doctrines of these other cults and movements and why they believe what they do.
      - Last but most certainly not least: I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ, having accepted his sacrifice on the cross as payment for the penalty that I incurred as a result of sin.
