Question/Answer
sallie00 asked on 02/14/08 - Updating a will

I have a simple will but it needs to be updated since my husband has passed.

If there a cheaper but dependable way to do that other than going to a lawyer?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Oldstillwild answered on 03/02/08:

Hi Sallie00!

Im afraid, you dont have a choice.

As long as you dont do anything, the will will stay as it is.

You need a lawyer even only to withdraw your will.

If you want your will to be official and undisputed you need a lawyer.

If you dont want to be worried about your inheritance ,you better make it official.

If there is little to worry about or if you manage to not worry about it,then you might just write a letter or letters and let your loved ones know, where to find it.Or you might even tell them, what your last will is about.

But if you do worry and do want it to be an official undisputed will, then you should go the official way and register it.

Question/Answer
sallie00 asked on 12/13/07 - Wallet Protection Program

In your opinion, for 2.99 is this something worth having?
If your wallet is ever lost or stolen, all you need to do is make 1 call and they will quickly notify all your card issuers to cancel your card and, if I wish, they will request replacements. My credit file will be monitored by the 3 major credit bureaus for 90 days and I will be alerted of certain changes that may indicate fraud.

If you know of any programs that are better, you can let me know. Or if you think I can moniter it better myself, etc.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

well,Sallie00,

Merry Christmas!

May your wallet be safe!

I subscribed to a service alike.
Not only for creditcards.

If you lose your wallet and such(or been stolen!),one call is enough!

Thiefs are very quick,so you must be as quicker as possible!
You probably wont be able to manage that on your own!Its more work than youd think.....!

So,
although ill never know if I could do it myself as well,
I chose for the one number to call for all.

Its just a matter of choice and chance.

Question/Answer
sallie00 asked on 10/04/07 - Auto Insurance won't pay for damages.

I found out the guy who hit me insurance isn't going to pay because they say they believe their client who said he was standing still and I hit him. I said as I was backing up into the parking space, he reversed and hit me.(He was waiting for someone to back out of a parking space)

So, of course, one of us is lying. I thought the accident report would prove to them I was right. I feel that I am being victimized. The damage is $650.00.

I thought, the accident report would dictate as to who fault it was more so than what either one of us had said. I feel the insurance company just refusing to take responsibility.

Is there anything else that I can do to justify the wrong?

Thanks in advance?
